Kitchens Home

Two of the most decorated kitchens in the industry’s history: here we have two pioneering styles with the S1 and 6006 range, each with their own wealth of design and innovation awards.

The 6006 was released as the first ever fitted kitchen in 1960 to wide acclaim and was an immediate sensation. It has remained an essential part of the SieMatic collection ever since. One of the most successful and beloved kitchens of its time, the 6006 still has an unquestionable relevance in trend today. Characterised by elegantly convex doors and toe kick, the most recognisable feature of the 6006 is the integrated strip handle that was a worldwide design innovation at the time.

Fifty years on, SieMatic has once again broken new ground with its revolutionary S1. Seamlessly integrating all that seems essential in modern life, the various interactive elements of the S1, many of them patented, have all the expected features of a contemporary home. Perhaps the most exciting new element of the S1 range is its MaticMotion opening mechanism; with an ergonomically placed grip rail within the door, each unit is easy to access without leaving fingerprints or compromising the uninterrupted front finishes that are a signature S1 trait. Designed to be the ultimate in ergonomic, functional design with an indulgence in textures and materials, the S1 is unrivalled.
