Further commendation for Stuart Frazer Contracts’ Dovetail© project management system.

Award-winning kitchen contractor, Stuart Frazer Contracts has been awarded ‘approved supplier’ status with a string of leading main contractors following the launch of its DoveTail© project management system.

The Manchester-based company has been selected by ROK Construction, Alfred McApline and Shepherd Construction following a series of rigorous accreditation procedures, covering personnel and financial reviews, ECO and performance ratings, health and safety checks and regular site visits. Now approved, Stuart Frazer Contracts will remain on each of the three contractor’s tender list for the next three to five years.

“This news is testament to the emphasis that Stuart Frazer Contracts places on solid project management and the success of our partnership approach to the contract market,” said Belinda Sewell, Director. “Whilst we’re primarily known for the quality of our design, our DoveTail© system is now recognised as best practice in our industry and proves that we have the balance just right.

DoveTail© incorporates a combination of just-in-time deliveries, streamlined on-site coordination and quality control, local warehousing, highly trained operatives and a dedicated fleet of delivery vehicles to give a seamless on-site service. Proven to reduce costs and improve timescales, the system was developed to ease the pressures faced by contractors on site. With a pro-active approach to Health and Safety the company is also Chas approved with a fully CSCS approved team to ensure full site access without delays.

“When dealing with large developments and main contractors it’s essential to have a project management approach that inspires confidence,” continued Belinda, herself being NEBOSH qualified. “Working with the likes of Countryside Properties and Crosby Homes on large city centre apartment complexes such as Potato Wharf and Radius, it’s been our ability to deliver on time and to budget that has set us apart from our competition.”

Following the recent accreditations, the company is expecting a significant uptake in sales. In preparation for this anticipated growth in the high volume, multiple plot apartment market, Stuart Frazer Contracts is now embarking on a recruitment drive to bolster its team and maintain service standards as more large volume projects come on stream.
