Located in the highly desirable Castlefield area of the city centre, the 111 one and two bed apartments in phase one of the Potato Wharf development feature our SL101 SieMatic handleless furniture, MultiMatic space-saving storage system and Neff appliances. The kitchen design scheme grew from the development’s Bauhaus inspired external architecture and the rich industrial heritage associated with its waterside setting.

The design concept developed by Stuart Frazer Contracts incorporates timber effect cantilevered breakfast bars to reflect the construction of the canal locks. A basalt grey finish to the furniture was incorporated to complement the charcoal brick of the building’s exterior.

In line with the demands of the Carillion Build Programme we successfully completed all 111 kitchen installations without delays and inline with our stringent zero defects policy. At times out team was fitting up to 8 kitchens per week to keep up with the tight schedule set for completion of the development. Our ‘in house’ team and local warehousing allowed us to make up to three site deliveries a day at the peak of the workload, all of which is carefully controlled and monitored by our dedicated and experienced Project Manager.
