| Breaking the mould The brief we received for this particular project was to come up with something a little unusual; words like eclectic and bohemian were put forward with the idea that the development will appeal to new homemakers seeking the convenience and cosmopolitan nature of the village. Whilst colour choices were reserved for the end user, we presented the idea of 13mm Corian tops, something that is very up to the minute and likely to appeal to their target market along with the modern design elements such as built up ovens and an intentional absence of unnecessary wall units. The Concept The interior design of the show home was created to reflect the eclectic, Arts and Crafts style of the local area with richly coloured, multi textured fabrics and furnishings. This concept was in place from the start and is echoed through our kitchens by the mixture of many different, tactile surfaces. The smooth, sheen of Corian contrasts with the subtle grain-textured SieMatic furniture doors, crisply finished with the stainless steel trim of the SL range which is repeated in the stainless steel fascias of the appliances. Shared Values In line with a shared value in customer service and choice, we are more than happy to oblige when Seddon Homes ask us, as they did with this development, to produce colour collection packages complete with visuals and samples. This allows the show house team to demonstrate to prospective clients the extent of choice and influence they can have within their build, making it a huge advantage to buy early. "The Seddon Homes name has a natural synergy with Project Kitchens and our products and work ethics fit well together", Denis Maddock, Seddon Homes Sales and Marketing Director |
